Pedal for Precious Lives Updates

Wise Recruitment are putting the miles in as we continue with our fabulous “Pedal for Precious Lives” in Torquay. A big thank you to Union Square Shopping Centre, in the heart of Torquay, who enabled us to really get the static bike moving.

As we pedal frantically to reach our target of 2,500 miles the donations keep rolling in and our minimum of £2,500 gets closer and closer. The team added another 135 miles to our target and £61 in donations from the lovely shoppers in Union Square on Tuesday and a big thank you to Tesco’s who once again supported our efforts yesterday helping us add another £75 to our target.

The bike will, today (23/02) be in the branch at Wise Employment, Unit 7, Tor Hill House, Union St, Torquay TQ2 5QW. If you would like to support them with some much needed pedal power for this incredible charity then please pop in or call: 01803 211500. The “Pedal for Precious Lives” campaign is winding its way throughout the whole of the Wise Recruitment Group network. Moving our way round our local branch network from Truro, to Plymouth, to Exeter and Torquay with an stop at the Exeter Guildhall Shopping Centre, Friday 24/02 (outside Sainsbury’s) 10am to 3pm. The bike moves to Yeovil Branch on Monday 27/02 and will be at the Tesco’s Extra from 12pm to 4pm, with more events at planned over the coming weeks as the bike continues its journey around our branches. Staying in Yeovil for two weeks before moving on to Dorchester, Poole, Maidenhead and Swindon.

So far the challenge has raised £1,593.36! The Wise Recruitment Group still has a minimum £906.64 to raise so please follow the static bike, add some pedal power in one of our branches, enter our “Fastest Mile Challenge” and the all-important donations will help to achieve £2,500 for the 3 hospices that look after and support limited life children and their families in the South West.
