Job Description

Role: Logistics Administrator
Location: Swindon
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £17,000 per annum

A superb opportunity to join a vibrant, expanding company in the role of Logistics Administrator.

To be effective in this position the successful candidate needs to build a deep understanding of the overall business operations. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager ensuring that monthly and yearly targets are met.

Working within the logistics Department the successful candidate will hold good organisational and communication skills, be able work on own intuition, prioritise his or her own workload and be flexible to ensure all correct documentation is produced within the daily schedule.

Duties will include:

  • Pull picking tickets from the order book.
  • Planning the daily workload for the warehouse, including collections, deliveries and customer returns.
  • Booking and liaising with various transports and ensuring correct costs are applied.
  • Checking Transport invoices are correct before signing off and liaising with third parties regarding queries.
  • To book out completed picking, and produce all delivery documentation.


Essential Skills:

  • Experience in liaising with external suppliers & transport
  • Logistics experience
  • Proven experience within administration
  • Good organisation skills
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Good IT skills
  • Hard working
