New Exciting Permanent role for a Senior Assistant Finance Manager, Plymouth

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Senior Assistant Finance Manager for one of the UK's fastest growing retailers based in the Plymouth area. With exceptional customer-service at the core of the business, you will be joining a market-leading company who have huge plans for expansion and growth. 

Reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager, you will be ensuring the efficient operation of the Finance Team. This role will see you having an input non key commercial decision making and includes preparing and reviewing financial performance.

As Senior Assistant Finance Manager, you will be responsible for business unit reporting which will mean preparing monthly management accounts and analysis.  You will review and challenge monthly accruals for the wider business and also prepare and submit monthly Intrastat reports.  You will be responsible for financial scenario modelling and assisting with yearend audits.

Key skills and experience

To be successful in the role of Senior Assistant Finance Manager, you will preferably have a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or similar, experience preparing management accounts with commentary and experience within a commercial organisation.

You will need to have strong Excel skills and preferably also knowledge of financial modelling.  You will have excellent attention to details and accuracy and be able to work to tight deadlines.
