Job Description
Electrical Development Engineer, Exeter, salary £28,500 per annum, plus benefits Full Time, Permanent based on the outskirts of Exeter. This will be working Monday to Friday 8am – 430pm.
Due to growth, Wise Employment are seeking an experienced Electrical Development Engineer for one of our fast growing clients. This role will see you joining an innovative Research & Development Team, managing multiple projects that are short-term and long-term and contributing ideas across various disciplines.
You will assist in building prototypes, lead projects and development activity and work with other departments to take projects from conception to production. You will be responsible for taking product through test and certification via third party labs and then feedback to influence new development projects.
This will suit a balance of someone who has hands-on practical work along with project management and coordination.

Key Skills required:
You will have knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and experience of project management within small/mid-scale projects. You will be able to read and interpret technical information such as industry standards and then suggest appropriate action to ensure such standards are met.
You will have knowledge of engineering principles and practices and have experience of fabrication and design for manufacture or assembly.
You will be a confident communicator and have experience with fault diagnostics, servicing or electrical safety. An awareness of British and European standards applicable to domestic electric heating products would be an advantage for this role.
