Job Description
Industrial Engineer, Exeter, salary £35K-£45K DOE, plus benefits Full Time, Permanent based on the outskirts of Exeter. This will be working Monday to Friday 8am – 430pm.
Due to growth, Wise Employment are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer for one of our fast growing clients. This role will see you responsible for the creation and management of the company’s process timings. You will be focussed on developing accurate workplace sample studies to determine time allocation for core business areas within the production and warehouse operations.
You will develop strategic targets, providing achievable targets for project completion across the organisation.
You will work closely with Lean and Production Engineering Teams to ensure successful implementation of best manufacturing practice and help review the manufacture of new products with regards to process efficiency.

Key Skills required:
You will need a HNC/HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline as a minimum. You will have experience of implementing Manufacturing improvements and Continuous Improvements projects within batch manufacturing businesses. You will have an experience of working with sheet metal fabrications with an understanding of related manufacturing processes and limitations. It would be advantageous if you have experience of Value Analysis and Value Engineering techniques, root cause analysis and 8D.
