Are you an experienced Kitchen Supervisor (or School Cook) looking for a 30 hours per week permanent opportunity in a busy, fast-paced, fun and energetic school kitchen?

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Supervisor / School Cook for a permanent role based within an educational setting in Saltash.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm and this role is paying £17,465.28 per annum for 43 weeks (paid each month still) and uniform will be provided.  This role is to start as soon as possible.

You will be working within a team to supervise the kitchen, prepping the lunches and snacks for approximately 120 children and staff. You will have a varied role and responsibilities such as prepping and cooking the hot meals and packed lunches that have been pre-planned and set along with the general maintenance of the kitchen. 

As Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for the ordering and organising of the meals including adhering to specific dietary requirements whilst keeping the kitchen and food areas clean and tidy.  You will need to adhere to department budgets and also ensure that deep cleans of all kitchen equipment is carried out during appropriate times throughout the year.

It will be preferable for you to have a recently dated ENHANCED DBS certificate (on the update service) that includes Child Work Force and ideally up to date Food, health and hygiene certificates.
