We are supporting this UK freight forwarding and logistics Company in sourcing their first
Sales & Marketing Manager!
The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years’ sales experience within the freight forwarding industry.
This Slough based Company has a wealth of experience in managing road, sea and air freight and has over 10,000 sqft of a customs-approved warehouse facility that assists clients with the collection and clearance from ports in a timely manner.
This is the first time that the Company has recruited for a Sales & Marketing professional. Work to date has come through recommendation. However, it’s now time to expand and you will have the opportunity to develop the Sales & Marketing team from the ground up.
You will start by developing the business through putting together an agreed marketing plan and following up no leads and competitor information. You will use marketing tools along with cold calling and appointment making, meeting clients face to face and via video conferencing. You will also promote the Company and interact with potential clients via social media and e-shot campaigns.
Having the ability to put together quotes with the team and presenting the Company’s capabilities is an important part of this role.
As the business grows and develops you will need to recruit to support the hard work you have put in and further expand the business.
