Field Based Pest Control Officer

Wise Employment are recruiting for a Pest Control Officerfor one of our established and fastest growing clients within the UK.  This is a field-based role and requires travel across the country so therefore, ideally you will be located in Central England, however, other locations would be considered for the right candidate.

Due to exciting expansion plans our client has, they are seeking a Pest Control Officer to join their growing Health and Safety team.

As a Pest Control Officer you will liaise with all sites of the business to support them in maintaining a robust pest control procedure.  You will monitor weekly reports and take necessary actions to support the sites by checking that quotes for remedial work are justified and fairly priced. 

You will carry out site visits to monitor standards and support where there is pest activity.  You will check that work completed by external companies is to the required standard and meets the quote received.  There may be occasions where you may have to carry out hands-on solutions such as minor proofing work.

Requirements for a Pest Control Officer:

• Recent demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Level 2 RDPH qualification in Pest Management
• You will be able to communicate to all levels within the company and across various sites
• You will need to be able to read and interpret statutory documents and produce relevant policies, procedures and risk assessments.
