Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor required in Exeter, salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, plus overtime (x1.5) and excellent benefits package. Full Time, Permanent based on the outskirts of Exeter.  This will be working one of two shifts – either; Monday to Thursday 730am 0 415pm and Friday 730am – 130pm or Monday to Thursday 8am- 330pm and Friday 8am-230pm.

Due to growth, Wise Employment are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for one of our fast growing clients.  This role is a critical role for the business and you need to be a forward thinker to be able to introduce innovative methods and new systems.

You will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities and work to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the warehouse operations.  You will supervise a team of warehouse staff who look after incoming goods and storage and that deal with all areas of picking, packing and despatch.

You will need to have demonstrable experience of delivering “on time” business critical projects and overall ensure that daily performance expectations are exceeded.  You will work with your team to create measurable KPI’s and also drive improvement and innovation in your area.

Key Skills required:

You will have knowledge of all warehouse operations and procedures and have excellent Health & Safety awareness within a warehouse environment.

You will be a confident communicator and have experience of warehouse supervision.

You will have good organisational skills and also PC skills and be able to coach and train staff members where required.
