Industrial Manufacturing Operatives Required!  Immediate Starts and Temporary to Permanent roles and 4 day working week with opportunity for overtime too!

You will work productively and safely maintaining high levels of housekeeping, workmanship and traceability. Support other departments and carry out other duties when required. You will also need to have excellent fitting and assembly skills including the use of hand tools and marking out along with good measuring and inspection techniques used with a variety of equipment. It will be advantageous to have good reading specification and good oral and written English. You will minimise waste by using materials and consumable items efficiently.

Key skills and experience

Desirable skills and experiences would be to apportion time effectively to complete tasks, possess good efficiency in communicating through all levels of an organisation.  It would be beneficial to have experience of fabrication/laminating but not essential.  You will need to be quick at identifying critical information and able to adeptly learn the context of a challenge and quickly integrate new skills. You should understand technical drawings, in turn, applying technical information so you are able to identify and install improvements that are effective in achieving excellent quality, cost reduction and product improvements. You will have a strong sense of customer focus in order for projects to be completed on time and you will maintain professionalism when representing the company.

This will be working Monday – Thursday 0700am-1730pm but you can start at 0615am for easier commuting time, at the hourly rate of £10.42. Flexibility will be required as you can work overtime if available which it currently is! (after completing the standard working hours). Overtime is paid at £13.03 per hour through the week including Friday, Saturday will be £15.63 per hour and Sunday will be £20.84 per hour!
