FLT Warehouse Operative (Counter Balance)

Job Description

Wise Employment are recruiting for a FLT / Warehouse Operative (with Counter Balance FLT licence that is in date and preferably Pivot Steer) for a UK leading company based in Plymouth.  This is a permanent position working night shifts Tuesday to Saturday 10pm – 6am

This is an exciting FLT operative role and offers the opportunity to work for a highly reputable company.

You will be supporting the warehouse department to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role will involve you assisting with the unloading and loading of deliveries and orders and recording materials and deliveries correctly.  You will assist in the handling of pallet deliveries coming into the business and managing the delivery booking calendar. 

To succeed in the role, you will have recent warehouse and stock control experience along with an in date Counter Balance FLT licence (obtained / renewed within the last 3 years) and preferably also a Pivot Steer licence (again in date).  You will have strong knowledge of warehouse systems and routines.  You will also have strong ICT skills and be a confident communicator with good organisational and customer service abilities.

This role offers a competitive salary (£26,894 per annum) and excellent benefits such as; Non-contributory pension scheme with 5% employer contributions (subject to passing probation), Discretionary annual bonus, death in Service insurance at 4x salary, Critical Illness insurance at 2x salary, Holiday: 25 days holiday per annum, plus Bank Holidays.
