We have an exciting and dynamic role awaiting a strong water sales professional who has exposure and demonstrable success working within the Power, Chemical Processing (CPI) and Hydrocarbon Processing Industry (HPI) sectors.
You will be working for one of the largest, global waste management companies and be responsible for defining the medium-term strategies for growth within the UK industrial clusters.
The main key responsibilities will be:
To define the medium-term strategies for growth within the UK Industrial Clusters
Develop a qualified pipeline of relevent opportunities in emerging marketing including Hydrogen, carboncapture, sustanable airline fuels, Lithium Refinining and Advanced Plastic Recycing
Extensive networking within the UK Industrial Clusters to position the company's differentiated products and services within target markets and customers
Establish and nurture senior level relationships with specified Key and National accounts within the UK Indusrial Sectors
Working closely with the Company Vertical Leaders, Regional Leaders and Regional Sales and Operatonal teams including the wider business to develop actionable growth strategy.
Lead interaction with UK based Carbon Capture Suppliers (OEM's) and electrolyser suppliers for Hydrogen production
Act as the Central Point of Contact for definitiion and business development of the UK Lab development to meet further requirements of industrial customers and work closely with existing lab facilities to define the most cost-effective business model to meet UK Customer needs
Lead industrial marketing strategy for UK with focus on developing references and case histories for differentiating solutions
Regularly attend and present technical updates and papers on the various copmpany appications at relevent conferences and events
Raise the divisions brand awareness by organising industry seminars and customer roadshows, webinars on linkedIn and by attending relevant conferences and events
personaly support the most strategic deal opportunies until closure
Drive market intelligence and ensure a good understanding of competitors strategies, portfolios and positionings.
To carry out this role the successful candidate will have:
BSc or MSc Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical discipine and/or relevant business qualifications (i.e. MBA) or equivalent gained knowledge
At least 10 years experience in the industrial water, cooling water and process treatment - selling solutions-based services to HPI/CPI/Power customers and working with complex contracts and customer organisations.
Experience of bid preparation and contract negotiation
Excellent communication skills in terms of relationship build, influencing others and advanced written skills
A proven successful sales career demonstrating excellent negotation skills across a broad range of customers.
You will ideally live in the North West between the Humber and Teeside industrial clusters. The position is home based but you will be expected to travel around 80% of your time and this will include UK travel and some international including attendance at conferences.
