Job Description

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Associate for an established production company based in the Callington area to work within their Accounts Receivable Team. This is a Permanent Hybrid (2/3 day in the office) full time role on a salary of £22- 23k DOE as well as many fantastic benefits. 

What your day will look like:

This is an exciting role with the opportunity to progress with an established company. The right person for this role will ensure that all orders have been adjusted as per the current reports and adjusted prior to invoicing. In this role you will be responsible for the billing run and to make sure its accurate and has been executed to ensure that the invoices go on time. You will also deal with business queries via billing and outstanding payments whilst offering exceptional customer service Businesses and any 3rd parties.

This is an opportunity to communicate and work with various internal and external stake holders. You will need to ensure than debts and ensure that all transactions are compliant with HMRC regulations.This role will require regular meetings with site to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary and negotiated bills are negotiated to bring payment within the agreed terms. Within day to day tasks, it will require a good timely way of working so customer’s payments that are received electronically are recorded (cash and credit card transaction) to the system so a keen attention to detail is key. Communication and accuracy is big part of this role as the right candidate will need to update the receivables by reviewing unpaid invoices on the ageing report and chases, any overdue debt from customers and generate sales invoices to post ledger.

Experience required:

For this role you will need good, demonstrable computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office/ Office 365).

You will also require excellent communication to work well within teams and with Key stakeholders.

The right candidate must be able to show an understanding of customer satisfaction as its the foundation of our success.

This role requires a good sense of organisation and time management as no day will be the same so ability to adapt is key.

Previous experience of working within AR in a Finance Team and Microsoft AX and SAP experience is desirable.

This is a Monday – Friday position 8.30am – 5pm. Permanent office based role
