Wise Employment are currently recruiting for an Experienced Buyer for a growing and well established company based in the Plymouth area to work closely with fast growing buying teams to manager their customer offers and to work closely with the Head of Buying. This is a permanent fulltime role based in the head office in Plymouth. (Very competitive Salary DOE)
What your day will look like:
You will be responsible for maximising sales, margin and profitability within a fast moving and diverse category. Your days will vary from day to day allowing you to have ultimate responsibility for the implementation of the product strategy and ensuring that the business is meeting the customer needs. Using your creative mind and forward way of thinking, you will need to monitor and review competitor, information therefore, you, will need to come up with new ideas to ensure your product offering stays relevant in a changing market. By working with your team you need to play a lead role within reviews, supplier negotiations, promotions and pricing.

You will need to have buyer experience and is desirable to have been within FMCG working environments.
You will need to have excellent ability to communicate with various suppliers and employees making you a excellent team player in a fast paced environment.
Have an ability to build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Have first rate strategic and analytical thinking skills.
This role will be working Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.30pm and offers 21 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and a company discount scheme.
