Wise Employment are currently recruiting for exciting permanent opportunities for Deputy Retail Managers for an established and fast growing National company based in South Wales. Due to new store openings, we are looking for 2 x Deputy Retail Managers (1 x Pontypridd and 1 x Merthyr Tydfil). This will be an amazing career role to work for a well-established and market leading store in the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for Deputy Retail Managers who are driven and focused on building customer relationships whilst maximizing sales by motivating the team.

You will have strong customer service and retail experience or worked as a Retail supervisor or deputy manager recently or perhaps have worked within retail for 3 years + and looking for the next career step.
You will be assisting with overseeing the daily shop operations and expected to meet specific financial goals as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
You will need to have strong customer service experience within a retail environment and some supervisory or management experience along with excellent numeracy and communication skills (oral and written).
You will have an approachable and friendly demeanor and be reliable and trustworthy. You will have the ability to build excellent rapport and be engaging.
This role will be working 5 days out of 6 (Monday to Saturday 9am to 530pm) and as Deputy Retail Manager, you will be required to work the majority of Saturdays each month with a day off in the week. The stores are closed on Sundays.
This role will be subject to references and an enhanced DBS check (costs are covered if you don’t have one on the update service already) and training may involve stays away within the South of Wales and also the South of England, where all expenses are covered (food, accommodation and travel).
