Wise Employment are currently recruiting for an exciting permanent opportunity for a Store Maintenance Engineer to work in multi store locations. This will be an amazing career role to work for a well-established and market leading store in the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer who will be able to cover the South East Region covering London & the South East regions.

This role will be contracted to work 37.5 hours with paid overtime available also. The role requires flexibility in working hours as may involve working in business hours 9am – 530pm or may involve maintenance duties out of hours or in the evenings and weekends and therefore can also include overnight stays (fully funded including meals).
The purpose of this role is provide planned and reactive assistance to the store properties for general maintenance and carry out mini refits to stores. Travel to other parts of the country may also be required.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive and “can-do” attitude and be able to carry out the following duties, basic plumbing, joinery, general maintenance, minor electrical work (re lamping etc), emergency response, larger property projects including refits and setting up new stores, assistance to any external contractors i.e. shutter contractors.
You will need to have a minimum 5 years’ experience within a Maintenance or Shopfitting role and ideally hold an electrical certification. You will also have experience carrying out general maintenance such as basic plumbing, painting & decorating, changing locks, tiling, laying carpets and flooring.
It will be essential to have a valid clean driving licence as a van will be provided
