Job Description

Are you a Payroll Clerk looking for a new, full-time permanent opportunity? Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a fast growing and expanding company in Plymouth.

You will be completing general administrative tasks such as processing new starters, leavers, general payslip enquiries and administrative duties in accordance with the payroll team.

You will ideally have payroll experience and excellent Excel skills (a test may be required at interview), a good eye for detail, a high level of accuracy when inputting data and be able to comply with GDPR.  Existing knowledge of Stat payments (SSP/ SMP /SPP) and workplace pensions experience are preferred.

You need to be able to work as part of a team but also on your own and have a strong telephone manner.  It is essential that you can adhere to a strict confidentiality policy and can self-prioritise workload.

In order to succeed, you will need to be a team player who has an abundance of drive and enthusiasm, customer focused, organised and self-motivated.

In return you will be working Monday to Friday 845am to 530pm in brand new offices in a friendly and welcoming team.
