Job Description

Customer Support Officer. Exeter. £11.76 - £12.73 doe per hour. Required for 3 months initially, could be on-going. To start Immediately.

To work for the Customer Access Team, dealing with Revenues & Benefits.

Ideal candidate will have knowledge of Council Tax and Housing Benefits. Strong communication and Customer Service skills required in order to engage quickly with Customers, both orally and written, as dealing with people with various needs.

  • To resolve queries at the first point of contact, pulling in expertise where required.
  • To gather a complete picture of the problem to be solved and provide a pro-active response, tailored to meet individual’s needs.
  • To assist customers in resolving their housing and financial problems and other Council related queries.
  • To support customers in gaining financial independence and sustainable accommodation.
