Are you an Imports Assistant and looking for a new, full-time opportunity?
Due to exceptional growth, an exciting and challenging opportunity is available so Wise Employment are currently recruiting for this role based in the Plymouth area.
Due to the Experience required, we will only be accepting applications if you have the following;
Excellent knowledge of excel (this is predominately an excel based role)
Works well under pressure
Able to analyse data
Previous experience of working to deadlines
Previous scheduling experience preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Good telephone manner
Confident in outlook, answering telephones, liaising with external and internal warehouses, freight forwarders and management
Confident in delivering updates to several departments within the company
Daily planning of DC deliveries
Can adapt to a fast pace working environment that constantly changes due to vessel ETA’s, haulage delays, change in order priority.
It is essential to have excellent Excel skills (a test will be required at interview stage) and an exceptional eye for detail with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. You should have excellent accuracy and organisational skills as you will be working with a lot of data and spreadsheets. You will need to have a minimum of a years’ experience working within an imports role with customs knowledge.
