Outstanding KICKSTART placement for an Office Administrator with a Twist!
Connect Reading is an Organisation that helps individuals, companies and organisations connect with each other to improve the environment and the community.
This Kickstart role offers the successful candidate to have their 6 month placement working from home and offices in the centre of Reading.
You will provide support to the Managing Director of Connect Reading in all aspects of the operations.
Responsibilities will include:
Entering data onto the finance system (Expense plus) and carrying out reconciliations.
Using a template to produce invoices that will be sent to members and checked prior to sending
Responding to enquiries via email including finding relevant information and recording the connections and signposting to the relevant contacts
Capturing connections made when responding to queries using the monitoring spreadsheet.
Attendance at meetings for minute taking
Typing of various information including minutes, populating ops reports and annual impact report
Presence at events for learning of networking skills
Opening and closing of files – filing, archiving and labelling of files.
Use of various systems including CRM database, MS Office and Google Suite
WHAT SKILLS/QUALITIES/EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED FOR THIS ROLE?
Numerate - must have GCSE Maths C or above
Excellent English including spelling
Strong typing skills (typing test will be necessary)
Keen attention to detail
Happy to attend Events
Well presented with excellent communication skills
Ideally knowledge of MS Office/Google Suite software packages.
