Job Description

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant for an ever growing and expanding company based in the Plymouth area. 


You will be a hardworking and pro-active individual who is able to work independently; working as a liaison between the retail stores, warehouse and Head Office. 

Your duties will involve quickly and accurately booking in deliveries.  Preparing and moving stock between the two buildings, delivering stock to the relevant personnel within the Head Office and investigating and following discrepancies. 

You will support the upkeep of the head office by overseeing the recycling processes.  Overseeing the basic maintenance of company cars with routine weekly checks, preparing reports and supporting the Supply Chain team with administrative tasks. Supporting the Supply Chain team with ongoing projects.

Skills required:

You must be able to prioritise workload and work independently and have strong communication skills as the role involves interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

You will have proven experience of working safely in a warehouse environment and a valid Flexi Truck forklift licence is preferred.

You will be required to carry out administrative duties using Outlook, Word and Excel so knowledge of these are required.

Hours and Pay

Monday – Friday: 08:45 – 17:30 (38.75 hours per week).

28 days’ holiday per annum, inclusive of bank holidays.

A company discount scheme is available upon successful completion of the probation period.

This role is being recruited on a temporary to permanent basis. In return, Wise Employment can offer; weekly pay and emailed payslips, up to 28 days paid annual leave (inclusive of statutory holiday) and pension contribution .
