Job Description

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant for one of the UK’s fastest growing privately owned companies based in the Plymouth area.  This is a leading company who have huge plans for expansion and growth.


You will be a hardworking and pro-active individual who is able to work independently; working as a liaison between the retail store warehouse and Head Office. 

Your duties will involve investigating any stock discrepancies at either the stores or distribution centres and resolving the cause.  You will also oversee the stock returning process from stores to the distribution centres.

You will take ownership for various ongoing projects within the supply chain and prepare reports and support the Supply Chain team with administrative tasks.

This is a role that will involve problem solving and investigating within a busy and fast paced environment.  Previous supply chain experience would be advantageous.  This role may require some travel to the distribution centres so driving licence and own transport would be required.

Skills required:

Must be able to prioritise workload and work independently

Strong communication skills, the role involves interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

Proving experience of working safely in a warehouse environment

Strong experience with Outlook, Word and especially Excel in an administrative role.  You will be required to use Excel to create Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s

Hours and Pay

  • Monday – Friday: 08:45 – 17:30 (38.75 hours per week).
  • 28 days’ holiday per annum, inclusive of bank holidays.
  • A company discount scheme is available upon successful completion of the probation period.
