Plymouth
Full Time – Permanent

Wise Employment are thrilled to be recruiting for this excellent opportunity to work for one of Plymouth’s biggest growing employers. This role will see you ensuring that the fabric of the building and site services are maintained and that relevant compliance checks are completed.

Duties will include;

Carrying out minor amendments to electrical circuits and replace faulty electrical hardware.   You will undertake routine water checks and maintain plumbing and drainage across the site.

You will be responsible for maintaining all lighting and emergency lighting, documenting tests and carrying out remedial works as required. 

You will be tasked with any painting and decorating, minor building repairs and general maintenance tasks as required and carrying out fire extinguisher checks.

Any planned maintenance tasks that are generated, you will carry out and you will have responsibility to assist in controlling department budgets.

In order to be successful in this role, you would be required to have a strong general knowledge of plumbing, building maintenance and electrical maintenance and skills within carpentry, painting and decorating and fault finding.  

You would also ideally be apprentice trained in a building trade (preferable) and have BS7671:2018 IET wiring regulations (desirable) and C&G Legionella operator/responsible person training (desirable)

Salary is extremely competitive and dependant on experience.   This role will be a 40 hour week with the hours being fairly flexible but will involve regular Sunday working.
