Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Property Manager to work with a growing portfolio of self-catering properties near Wadebridge, Cornwall.

This role will see you working within a picturesque part of Cornwall, working in a small team, looking after coastal properties.

About the role:

This role is hands-on and everyday will be different! It will involve coordinating and supervising weekly housekeeping and changeovers, ensuring that each property is ready for guests arriving. This role will see you being at the core of the business and maintain a high level of customer service in order to meet (and ideally exceed) expectations.

You will be required to meet with owners of the properties to discuss quality and standards of the property from pre-contract inspection through to annual reviews, source and coordinate a range of suppliers such a cleaners, housekeepers, gardeners and service engineers (and will include producing a weekly housekeeping rota), Liaise with guests to ensure that they have all they need for their stay, organise swift repair and maintenance work with suppliers and contractors and ensure the accurate and prompt submission of housekeeping hours to payroll.

About you, your qualifications and experience:

You will have excellent communication skills to ensure coordination with different parties to enable positive outcomes.  You will be highly organised and methodical with the ability to self-prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.  Excellent computer skills are required and knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook are an essential requirement.  Previous knowledge of a holiday booking system would be beneficial.  A full clean drivers licence and own vehicle is required as the role will include travelling to various properties.  You will need to be flexible with your working hours as during peak holiday periods, overtime may be required.

Monday to Friday working week 9am to 5pm with the requirement to work every other Saturday 9am to 5pm (with a day off in lieu during the week).  This will also involve be on call every other weekend for emergency cover.
