Are you an experienced Project Coordinator? 

We are proud to be working with one of the Times Top 100 companies to work for.   This is a brand new position due to expansion of the current project management team. 

This innovative and diverse Organisation is seeking a very special Project Coordinator to come in and hit the ground running!  The role will entail coordinating multiple projects with life spans from 3 months to a year.  A very busy role with a lot of variety but needing an incredible amount of organisation and an unflappable personality!

To be succesful in this role you will already have Project/Portfolio Coordinator experience and used to working across the entire projects to support the effective planning, reporting, prioritisation, communication and delivery of successful results.

Working from offices based in Maidenhead, the role will entail:

Consolidation and maintenance of the portfolio schedule and coordination of project activites

Reporting, dashboards and communication at project level in an accurate and timely manner

Supporting the Head of Project Management in identifying, consolidating and ensuring the management of the portfolio level risks, issues and dependencies in multiple work streams.

Monitoring and supporting the budget and reforecasting processes to ensure that projects are completed with focus on costs with a high level of accuracy

Providing total administration support including the booking of meetings, taking minutes as required and maintaining action logs

Be responsible for the coordination of documents and records across the portfolio of projects

Liasion with all the appropriate people/teams to ensure the smooth operation of project management in line with governance, internal policies and procedures.


To carry out this role, you will be able to display the following skills, experience and attributes:


  • Experience as a Project/Portfolio Coordinator on medium to large projects/portfolios within a fast paced complex environment
  • Demonstrable advanced knowledge and experience with the MS Office suite, including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of building effective relationships at all levels both within teams and across an organisation
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational, analytical and reporting skills, including excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of analysing/collating budgets and resourcing analysis, with supporting strong financial skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Desire to take a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of a variety of Project Management methodologies is essential
  • A recognised Project Management or PMO accreditation would be desirable, e.g. APM, Prince2, P30, etc
  • Experience within the recycling and recovery sector is desirable, but not essential
