Graduate/Trainee Financial Advisor
£18,000 
Full Time – Permanent

Are you a 2018 graduate looking for an exciting opportunity? Would you like the chance to earn a qualification while working full time? Have you always wanted to work in Financial Advice? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Our client, a Financial Advisors based near Plympton, has the opportunity for a hardworking and driven graduate to join their busy wealth administration team. Working as a Wealth Administrator 4 days per week, the other day will be spent studying for your Financial Adviser Qualifications via the Personal Financial Societies new Financial Adviser Development Programme.

Day to day duties within the Wealth Administrative team will include;

•             Diary and appointment management

•             Processing new business enquires


  •          Ensuring client checks are completed on time

•             Monitoring new business pipeline through to completion

•             Handling general “after-sales” enquiries, including general support to IFA’s

•             General Administration such as preparing letters to clients

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone keen to progress within financial services. You will be an excellent communicator, have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a tight knit team. This position will involve client contact so confidence when speaking to clients over the phone, as well as face to face, is crucial.

We are looking to speak to candidates who have a minimum of 3 A Levels or equivalent, as well as grade C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent. This is the perfect role for a graduate and any degree can be considered.
Due to the nature of this role, an understanding of the importance of client confidentiality and the Data Protection Act would be of benefit, as well as good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
