Rent Advisor – Social Housing
Newton Abbot
Long term assignment to March 2019
£12 + per hour depending on experience

We are working with a leading provider of social housing in the south west to recruit an experienced rent advisor for their team on a full time basis until the end of March 2019.

Working as part of a team the successful candidate will carry out a busy and integral role for the team, where no two days are the same.

On a daily basis the successful candidate will be responsible for the collection of tenant and former tenant arrears including share ownership, garage and rent arrears.
• Provide a focussed rent management service supporting residents and assisting them in maintaining their payments and overdue payments.
• Direct tenants to necessary support or information on benefits available to them
• Early identification of arrears cases to ensure they don’t escalate
• Management of arrears cases

To be considered for the role, candidates will need to have good credit control experience, ideally in a b2c environment. In addition you will need a good working knowledge of welfare reform. Experience within social housing would be advantageous but is not essential
In return a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.39 is on offer, along with a long term opportunity (March 2019).
