Job Description
Wise Employment are urgently looking to recruit a Process Mixer for a large client based in Plymouth. This is an immediate start for a long term on-going assignment

Basic job role to include:
• To operate all Process Mixing products and associated equipment
• To carry out all operational activities in preparing raw materials and finished products to meet both internal and external customer requirements.
• To comply with all current Health and Safety, Environmental and Process Control procedures whilst carrying out all duties.

Key Areas of activity:
• Manufacturing all products by adhering to the mixing instructions and operating procedures to ensure optimum daily output and quality standards are met.
• Carrying out all preparation and process duties to include: powder handling, pan washing, press decanting, raw material preparation and all process cleaning related duties.
• Operating the automatic powder and liquid transfer equipment and making changes to recipe quantities.
• The care and proper use of all personal protective equipment and adhering to all statutory and company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping and cleanliness to your own working area at all times.
• Advising the Production Team Leader of any defects or damage to plant and equipment or any quality issues relating to products or materials.
• Preparing all pre-mixes and where applicable obtaining signed verification from another member of the compounding team.
• Accurately completing all works orders, labels, wastage sheets and any other relevant documentation required.
• Ensuring all raw materials are picked, used and recorded in the correct manner to comply with batch control and traceability.
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities to improve performance to any process or procedures.
• To co-operate and communicate with all other compounding members of staff to help maintain productive working relationships.
• Performing any other reasonable task as requested by your immediate Team Leader.
Full training to work in accordance with company environment, health and safety policies and management instructions will be provided.

Job Type: Full time with hours varied over Monday to Friday
Salary: £8.29 p/hour
